These celebrities want you to stay at home to help beat COVID-19

It’s not just California’s governor and local officials who want Californians to stay home during the coronavirus outbreak. Celebrities are also using their platform urge people to do their part in slowing the spread of COVID-19. A tongue-in-cheek video posted by Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office features actor and comedian Will Ferrell, described as a “young millennial.””Create your own party! Create your own club, right here in the comfort of your own house,” Ferrell, 52, says directly to the camera while sporting a sparkly gold jacket. Rapper Snoop Dogg also appeared in a video posted by Newsom’s office. “I need y’all to stay in the house for me, man. Real talk. I need everybody to stay in the house. I know it’s hard, but we gotta stay in the house so we can get this thing, you know, under control,” he says in the video.

Married At First Sight producers are casting CELEBRITIES for next year’s season according to ‘leaked texts’ from relationship expert John Aiken

Celebrities have reportedly been approached to take part in next year’s season of Married At First Sight in an attempt to boost ratings.

Producers are also looking at bringing back past participants, including the likes of Nasser Sultan and Tracey Jewel, according to NW magazine.

Meanwhile, Channel Nine is said to be considering a ‘re-brand’ for 2021 inspired by Australian Survivor’s latest season, tentatively calling the new series MAFS: All-Stars.

Producers at Endemol Shine have apparently asked several former participants if they are interested in returning to the franchise.

To support its claims, NW published what appears to be a leaked text message from MAFS relationship expert John Aiken to an anonymous celebrity.

John supposedly wrote: ‘We are trying to figure out if we want celebrity marrying a celebrity for the season or celebrities paired up with strangers on the outside.’

He continued: ‘We will have a video call tomorrow morning to discuss agreements further and I’ll let you know the other celebrity names who are currently on board.’

If these plans go ahead, it won’t be the first time a former participant has returned to the experiment for a second chance at love.

This year’s season featured Elizabeth Sobinoff, who had previously been matched with cheating tradie Sam Ball in season six.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

Casting for Married At First Sight’s eighth season is currently under way in Sydney, but it’s believed production has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

MAFS is typically filmed between late August and December, but the 2021 season will most likely begin filming in December and conclude in March.

Jack Black, one of the best celebrity YouTubers, is headed to TikTok

Published

Jack Black has joined TikTok, and his first video shows him doing a goofy dance he calls the “Quarantine Dance.”

The 50-year-old celebrity debuted on the popular video-sharing app on Monday. Throughout the clip, Black is shirtless and sporting a pair of cowboy boots plus a cowboy hat while dancing, kicking, and spinning outside.

His TikTok debut has been viewed over 2.1 million times, and he now has over 400,000 followers on his account. Since his debut, Black has uploaded three more videos on his account — a long gag where his son keeps cutting him off.

While Black has not said what his TikTok content will focus on, it seems to follow the same material as his YouTube channel, Jablinski Games, which, aside from gaming, also features impromptu vlogging. The YouTube channel, which launched in December 2018, hit 1 million subscribers less than a week after it debuted and currently sits at around 4.6 million subscribers.

Black is one of the few celebrities who thrives on YouTube, thanks to his energy and persona that consistently appear in each video he uploads. His recent videos have consisted of Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay as well as a few vlogs, including him attending the movie premiere for Jumanji: The Next Level in Los Angeles and skating with Tony Hawk.
